Awesome.
NOICE! Bruce Timm would be proud
Love it… Very nice work on the Green Lantern.
incredible! good job Rodrigo
Thanks everyone!
Sooooo good, love the stylization
Thanks blckgold! I’m glad you liked it!
I’m having some fun modeling this little big guy. Orc warrior - fan art.
Based on the awesome concept by Max Grecke.
A quick breakdown in how to apply transparency mask in Zbrush into a mesh. Might be useful for quick tests or preview some torn clothes in planes.
Cool character , always love to see new stuff from you
Thanks Antone_m! I’m glad that you are liking it!
Hey folks! Here is my latest project i did to study 3d game arts. I create the highpoly with Zbrush.
Based on the awesome concept art of Max Grecke.

Nice work Rodrigo! Love seeing all the different texture layers and being able to rotate around inside Marmoset Viewer.

Looks great man.can you make a breakdown of how you make game-res ragged cloth pieces like you did on this character?? Thanks a lot.;)
@sketchguy- Thanks Steve! Your work is awesome!
@Diablo- Thanks man! Regarding game-res ragged cloth, it is just lowpoly planes with hand-painted texture (diffuse map) created from scratch, and also I use an alpha map (black white map also hand-painted) for transparent part to simulate the torn cloths.
It is a quite old technique for lowpoly but still useful. After I just duplicate the skirt geometry and flipped over the mesh to create some variation, also apply another shader to this duplicated mesh with a darker color.
Here a example, I use this same skirt low poly for the final lowpoly model later on.

You also can check it out the model real-time in the 3D viewer, so you can rotate the model around and see how the lowpoly was made. Thanks!
