Rodicus Geriatricus: Rat god of the ancients

I was digging in my backyard when my shovel hit something hard. I dug it up and cleaned it up some. Here’s a photo of it. hehehehehehhe

Actually, it’s just a quick model/render in zbrush2. Nothing fancy. One light. One material with a few color bumps and some zbrush painting over the layer to add more variety to the stone.

edit… it’s supposed to be an old rat. Plus, the stone seems to lean toward a type of metal in places but I guess I could fix that if I wanted.

Man, I finally figured out you can snapshot an alpha over and over and move the new instantiation of it each time and add wrinkles in literally minutes.

Shure it’s not Ratus Bratus, Roman Ruler of BBQ?
:DLemo

PS:I love to doodle like that and all of a sudden a new technique or a new menue option become obvious. Sort of Eureka Sculpting moment. Verry addictive… Alway’s put’s me right into ‘The Zone’.

heheheheh

Heh, I’m no expert in ancient civilizations, okay??? hehehehhee

So, um, it might be Ratus Bratus. Heck, it might be a petrified wood carving. heheh

Yeah, I just learned to use snapshot for wrinkles mostly when I saw someone in a zscript doing it over and over. I said "What? So, THAT’S how they do it. hehehe

Thanks fer the reply. I really want to do a more substantial scene but I’ve mostly been tinkering.
