I’m trying to sculpt a rocky surface that has very regular, hard planes to it. The goal is to emulate the image below, but I’m having a hard time getting sharp planes. I’ve been using Projection master and the single-layer brush to layer up the planes, picking up the surface, doing one “layer”, dropping it, and then repeating the process. But it seems to get smoothed out as I do this. I’m using this on a mesh with over 3 million polys. Is there a better approach to doing this? Attached is my fairly lame attempt at this so far.
