Rock sculpting

I created a basic base mesh on C4D , then i export it as .obj file.
I imported it to Zbrush turn off the “subdivide smooth modifier” and pressed the divide button 8 times.After all i started to sculpting with alphas to create old stone effect but resolution quality looks a little bit bad.
Just like that

I wonder that how can i get better quality ?

For example there is a example , but it’s on mudbox;

Also how can i paint with textures just like on this video and how can i create normal maps and color map to use on C4D.
P.S i use zbrushosx

if its really divided 8 times is it possible the resolution of the alpha can be too low? just a thought :slight_smile:

the best way to paint in zbrush I imagine is going to be zproject or zapp link :slight_smile:

these should help you understand using zapplink! Hope it helps!

Alpha maps just has 512x512 resolution guess it’s a little bit low :slight_smile:
