Agreed. It looks more like a spaceship than a Robotic part of anything…
spaceships are robots also 
That depends on the definition of “robot”. Some may say that “robot” covers anything with mechanical moving parts, while others may say that “robot” only covers the typical definition of Mecha (small spaceship-carried Mobile Weapons with arms and legs, being piloted by a human). But by the first definition, I can agree that Spaceships are also robots.
