Hi everyone!
long time since i posted something here… been really busy lately.
Here is a personal model i’m doing on free time. I’ve became totally addicted to the Game of Thrones series and i couldn’t help to do something about it haha.
The main objective of this model is to study rendering in Maya. It’s going to be a long journey but will worth it.
Hope you enjoy the wips and process. All comments and critics are very very welcome.

The likeness is already good, since I spotted him from the thumbnail!
Are you using zbrush fibers or maya fur?

This looks wicked! I am jealous. Your fur around the collar suggests you would be able to sculpt Grey Wind no prob. They would look lovely on a mini sculpt plinth.
Already looking quite sharp! Really like the series as well. And man you’ve nailed the fur quite spot on!
beautiful sculpting! really digging the folds on that cloth and the idea with the fibermesh using as a skin of a wild animal. Really nice

Testing fur on the cape, but it’s not a solution yet.
Max’s Hair and Fur with mrprim deliver a cool result, but it’s totally impraticable with 100.000+ strands…
And still trying to figure out the face shader/textures to a more realistic render…

and I think that his chin is a bit less pointy than in your model; I hope this helps to improve the likeness!
