Newbie here.
I clicked a circle icon at top right above the tools pallette in the right hand tray and the entire tray disappeared. When I reopened Zbrush only the Tools was there. All the other headings below had vanished. How to get things back to the default. What is the funny icon than messes everything up?

You can dock any of the palettes in the right or left trays. Clicking the icon as you did simply clears the palette from the tray.
If you’ve items missing from the Tool palette then it’s probably because you don’t have a polymesh selected. The Tool palette is sensitive to what you have selected. If you select the Polymesh3D star tool, or open the DemoDog project, you’ll see how the Tool palette changes.
