I’m trying to rig this model its been brought down to 65k poly’s on sub-div 1 from over 3 million on sub-div 4. Has a clean mesh with no artifacts and has been checked by me. I built the rig inside the model using transp/ghost using zspheres. Then I saved out the rig by itself as a file and saved out the low poly model as it’s own file. Using rigging sub-menu with the rig file open in Zbrush I selected the low-poly mesh of the model and it comes in transparent and over my rig fine. Then when I click bind in rigging it appears to bind the rig to the model but when I attempt to rotate the rig for a pose at the hip something strange happens the back half of the model “Falls off” the rig like its been torn off and slumps to the ground. What is going on? Any ideas? I’ve tried the tutorials on rigging and they don’t work for me.
