Rigging with premade zsphere "skeleton"

If I had already made a zshpere skeleton for my figure, but the zsphere is not one of the subtools, can I still reuse the skeleton to rig my skinned figure? I still have the original zsphere skeleton saved as a separate file. How would I go about doing this?

I haven’t tried it myself, but I think it’s possible:


  1. Select the ZSphere figure.
  2. Press Tool>Rigging>Select Mesh and choose your model.
  3. Make any necessary adjustments to the ZSphere positions.
  4. Press Tool>Rigging>Bind Mesh.
  5. Pose.
