rigging error - why does it do that?

Hello,

I have an issue about simple object, such as a bone mesh with a one hinge zsphere skeleton:

Why does the structure show theese waves on it’s surface and why does the skeleton come out of the mesh?

Zsketch is all about spheres. Issue u can see is caused that ur sphere’s sketch i 2 much streched from posing. Try Soft Binding silder or u can just use right setting (Resolution/Density, Smooth/Raidal) in Unifed/Adaptive Skin.

I’m getting the same result with unified/adaptive skin options. Still looking like a staircase.

Some folds remaining:

you need bone weights! pun intended. i don’t think zbrush has such.
