Rigging a model with Displacement Map

Hi
its my first project with zbrush displacement map. I made a lion model in maya and produced a displacement map for that. now how can I rig the muscles for animation? my lion muscles inflates in displacement map not on maya obj model. should I use a higher version of subdivided model :cry: ? is there a tutorial for rigging a displacement mapped model in maya?Thank you
