Revan

My fan art Star Wars project of Darth Revan. My intention was to make it game-ready. I have spent around 200 hours on it, and I am still planning to give it a bit more because I would also like to make a version without a helmet. The process went very well, I sculpted the whole character in Zbrush from base mesh. I experimented a bit in Marvelous Designer by creating base mesh for cloth parts of my armor, I was not very pleased with the results so I modified it to look as I’ve imagined in Zbrush. After that I added all the details and created a clean topology using retopology tools in Maya, UV maps were also done in Maya. At the end, the whole model ended up having under 75 000 polygons (tris), and I used 3 different material groups for the character. Baking and texturing were done in Substance Painter, I painted the whole model in Tpose, and after that, I imported the final version with UV maps back into Zbrush where I posed the model. I was using Unreal engine for rendering, with 8k texture maps.
