In ZB 4 I used to append a zsphere and click on edit topology. Choosing a bump shader may help a bit.
I did exactly the same in zb4 r2 and started working. Unfortunately when navigating as I work, makes the whole cage almost invisible (i can’t see vertices clearly). Now I have to guess and click one to make cage visible again. Just moving the camera a bit makes it invisible again. After some more tries, zbrush just crashed.
I believe it’s a redraw major issue.

- can you fix it as possible, making zb4 r2 a usable tool, or should I go back to really stable zb 4 ?
- After crashing (a lot on r2) I can’t find a way to find the last autosaved file. Where is it?
- If I run zb4 and trying to use GoZ sculptris, this leads to zb4r2. How can I fix this?
