Retopology problems

I am trying to do some Retopology in Zbrush 4.0.
Everything is fine except for the fact that the preview of the Adaptive skin is not working.
I create a few quads then try to preview them but the Preview Adaptie Skin button just doesn’t interact.
I tried instaling ZB 4.0 on a different PC, same probem exists.

What is causing this problem and how can ai solve it?
Am I missing a step while I am doing retopology?

what steps are you doing for your retopo?

The steps that I am using to do Retopology are:

1. Go to the ZTool menu and import an OBJ file that was created in Cinema4D 2. Switch to Edit mode and make the object Polymesh 3D (I think OBJs are PM3D anyway, but I do this just in case) 3. Add a ZSphere 4. Select the freshly created PM3D from the Rigging menu 5. Go to the Topology menu and hit "Edit topology" 6. Start adding vertices and creating quads 7. Go to the Adaptive Skin menu, hit Preview and get frustrated by it not working

hmm…everything seems fine in your workflow.
I’d submit a support ticket.

Your preview is maybe hidden by your mesh. Try clicking on the eye to hide it.
