Retopology Options

Hello everyone!

This is my first post so if I am posting in the wrong place please let me know. I sculpted the object below and am looking for ways to retopologize it cleanly and evenly. I’m saving ZSphere retopology as a last resort method because of its tediousness. I’m hoping someone might be able to help me with some technique I may have overlooked. I have tried ZRemesher using polypaint to control density in the edges, but it still looks wonky, especially in the scar area in the middle.

Thank you ahead of time for any assistance!

Well, if auto topology isn’t doing the trick then you’re going to have to do it by hand. There are a ton of other pieces of software that have great topology tools, 3Dcoat, topogun, etc. You can also retopo using Zbrush with zspheres or with the topology brush.

Did you try the zremesher guide brush? (you can adjust the curves strength slider)

Are you reprojecting after zremeshing?

Double post. Sorry!

I thought I already replied but I must have never hit submit reply haha.

I didn’t try the brush you mentioned so I’m giving it a shot now. If that doesn’t work I’m just going to end up doing it by hand.

Thanks for the help guys!
