Retopology Issue

Hello,

I am running into an issue attempting to retopologize my model here. After poly painting my mesh, I began normally and started creating the Zshpere network. After a few polygons were created I hit the projection button and previewed the mesh. As you can see it freaked out. I took off projection and the preview looks the way you would expect. I'm at a bit of a loss. Anyone know whats going on?

could be your normals, try a negative value for the projection.

If it still doesn’t work, just retypo without projection then append the new mesh to the old and use project all.

note: its good habbit to store a morph target and add a new sculpting layer when using project all

tip: you can control the project all projection strength with the layer int.

Turned out you apparently need to have UVs before you start the retopology process. Morph thank for getting me thinking around the right area. It wasn’t a negative projection it was actually having UVs.
