retopology and texturing

Hi everyone!
I’m new in here, so i’m sorry, if there was a thread, like this.

So…i’ve got my high-poly, textured model, made with Zshperes. I’m going to make a low-poly model from it, using Zbrush retopology tool. So, the question is:

  • How do i get the texture map from my high-poly to the low-poly?
    If i’ll make UVs on my low-poly, then the high-poly and the low-poly texture maps, will not match. The same thing about normal maps.

Retopo then Project the low poly onto the high poly. You’ll need to subdivide a few times, but that’s basically it.
