Retopologazition Help

Hi there,I am starting my third year of university (college) and have started to retopo my characters head - I would just like feed back from some retopo people out there if the direction I am going is good - After this it is back into Maya for body creation and then final sculpt back in zBrush :)I think I have way to much topology here, but want to be sure. Please see photos below. This project is a 2 - 3 minute short narrative animation film piece :)Thanks! MT

Things look alright. Try to keep those polygons even. Don’t worry too much about edge loops, its much easier fixing those in Maya. You may want to lower density of your topology at the back of the head to tidy things up when you move on with the body.
