Retopo lines disappear

Hi there,

I just try to retopologize a mesh, so far.

This needs a bit time, and so I store my job to have a break and open it again, then I want to start over connecting new mesh lines to the existing ones.

It seems, that ZB connects well (when I hit »A«, the polygons appear in a good way), but the retopo lines (to get orientation) are disappeared (the existing lines from my first session are still there, but I cannot delete points on the old mesh).

This occurs only, if I store, quit and re-open the file.

Any idea?

Thanks a lot,

Stephan

Hi, Stephan.

Sometimes ZBrush imposes a mask on your tool without you knowing about it. This would prevent editing of the mesh. To check and see if you have a mask in the way, go to the Masking subpalette in the Tool palette and ‘Clear’ mask.

Hope this helps.

Turn the Edit Topology button off and back on again.

…can be so easy sometimes. Thanks Aurick

P.S.: Snark, thank you, too, but it was not an masking problem
