Hi there
I need to retopo a mesh. The workflow is known, but in Zbrush4 it is a little bit different. I created the new “grid” on the front of the head and wanted to do the same on the backside. But in the new version, the “old” headmesh seams to be transparent without hitting the “transparent” button. It is very difficult to build up the grid on the back by seeing the frontgrid. Is there a chance to get rid of this transparency, like it was in the older Zbrush Versions?
Thanks in advance
Hilmar
Preferences > Draw > Front Opacity 0.95, Back Opacity 0.01
thanks a lot. thats it.
I am experiencing the same problem over here. Im doing this tutorial and I am stranded at the point where I need to retopo the mouth area. It is very difficult to see what you are doing when the complete Ztool is transparent.
I don’t have the front opacity and back opacity settings under menu “draw”.
Does anybody have a solution to my problem?
Thanks in advance!

They’re not in the Draw menu. They are in the Preferences menu > Draw submenu.
.
Thank you!! You’ve just made my life so much easier.
