Resymmetry probelm

Hi, I need some help with a character I’m creating. For this character I removed his right arm so that i can attach some cybernetic stuff. But when I bring my model back into Zbrush the X symmetry is all messed up on the body, it’s no longer in the center of my model it’s off to the left side of his body now, I’m guessing because I removed the arm so Zbrush thinks that the center is off to the side now. Is there anyway to reset the X symmetry back to where it was along the center of his body? ANY HELP is much appreciated, thanks in advance

Have you tried using “posed” symmetry? found under the transform menu. It is based on mesh topology, where the traditional “x” key symmetry is based more to center of your meshes bounding box.
