resurfacing

Hi.I have been looking without finding the answer to my question.
What I wonder is how to project details from a torso to a full resurfaced mesh. I have the head and torso split apart as two meshes and a retopo’d model of the whole character. I understand I can bake out displacement map for the head and for the torso using xnormal, but can I project the details from a displacementmap in zbrush? I know you can do it in mudbox though. Or is there any other easier, faster way of doing it in zbrush? I’ve heard that project all is creating issues with multiple subtools. Thought maybe you could mask out the head when projecting the torso details and mask out the torso when projecting the head.

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Project all will work fine. But you’ll have to do some clean up at the seam of the subtools.
Store a morph target before you project. Project all. Then use the morphology brush to push back the areas that need fixing. Or switch your MT and use the morph brush to bring back details avoiding the areas that need tweeking.
