restore symmetry zspheres

Hi
I have been looking for an answer for this question for quite some time,
so to summarize, there not way to restore symmetry on a zspheres model
that has lost its center, I tried every single possible solution, there’s not
a button or option on the transform menu that can fix this.

By looking on the web I found more than one fella since very old version of zbrush
had this problem, yet pixologic has never address it, basically for no discernible reason
zspheres can and will fall out alignment, with a poly mesh when this happens there’s
myriad of options to salvage your work, and all of them work, yet for zspheres there
not one single way to restore symmetry.
I must admit that at first i though this could not be, I mean zbrush has so many options
to help so you don’t end up in a corner losing your work, yet this hole exists
and persists trough time, I’m making this thread so there’s a record that this problem
exists and that there ins not one tool on zbruhs to deal with with this issue.
Here’s to hoping that next version of zbrush adds a tool to resymmetrize and re center
a zspheres model.

If I’m incorrect and there is a way to re symmetry a zspheres model please point me in the
right direction I have been looking for a solution to this problem since two months to no avail.

Having to rebuild a zspheres model because one forgot to enable the x symmetry at
some point is a real deal breaker, for a poly mesh like a stated above there TONS of
ways to get your symmetry back yet there is not, one single way, to fix this on
a zspheres model.

Here’s a list of the links iv seen and no, non of this solutions work:

This zscript may help. Unzip and then load the ZSC file using the Load button in the ZScript menu. The buttons will appear at the bottom of the UI in the ZScript Window, so press ‘H’ on the keyboard to show them.

You can mask the ‘good’ side, if there is one. There may be some odd behaviour (it’s an old script and some of the zsphere zscript commands don’t work so well in later versions), so make sure you back up your model first.

marcus_civis: Hello
I already tried it, it doesn’t work, what we need is a real solution brewed as
an internal native option within zbrush like ReSym but for a zspheres armature model.
This is something only Pixologic can do.
Or someone could try to make a script that is well put together and
functioning with the latest version of Zbrush, that script is way too old
Thanks for taking the time to reply tho
