Resolution

I have a character, a lizard here, subdivided in around 8 millions poly.
I have texture of 3500 x 2500 with I made an alpha the same size (300 dpi)
I made a stencil from this alpha and tried to sculpt through this stencil. Unfortunately all I get is these jaggies.
What am I missing ?
I tried to divide my character to 33 millions poly but my Mac (8 Go) doesnt accept this resolution. Apparently

     See below what I mean

                                     My alpha on photoshop

you don’t have enough resolution to support the detail you’re trying.
You can look into HD geo or breaking the object into subtools.

You can also try to make the alpha smaller and blur it a little to help break up the hard dithering you’re getting.

Thanks goast I’ll give a try
