Requires mesh to be partially hidden?

I am just so confused about this warning and cannot find anywhere online that explains this!?

I have been trying to use decimation master and zremesher but keep getting these notes that pop up.

When I try decimation master it says that my mesh points ARE partially hidden!? and that I need to unhide them, while zremesher gives me this! please help

That’s the error for trying to do Edge loop without first hiding points. Something is probably masked. Clear the masking. We’d benefit from less obstruction of the UI. How many subtools? Is it Dynamesh etc.

Oh goodness, I believe I have solved the problem. so I sculpted this from a sphere, and hid the rest of the sphere but never got around to deleting the hidden part because I didnt know where to find it (now I know it is under modify topology) so once I finally deleted the hidden everything went back to normal uff da. Thanks again for the help Doug! I really appreciate it!
