When I saw your finished version for the first time today, I thought to myself - this looks just like Boris Vallejo’s style. Then I saw that you made it for a the “A Tribute to Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell” contest. You hit his style perfectly! Good work!!!
This is actually a beautiful piece of 3D art, which is a rarity!
I thought, “Clearly an homage to 1970’s Sci-Fi novel cover art!” and then I read it was a Vallejo love letter and thought, “Yeah, naruhodo: obviously!”
