ReplicA's workflow walkthrough for game models

Yeah, I’m gonna be posting my newest model at a couple of places. I’ll send you the PM when I post it.

Your idea sounds like a really cool one, a little competition sounds like it could be a lot of fun. And after battling burn out for a couple of months (Ug, that stuff drives me nuts), it would be nice to get someone elses design, and work on that.

Anyway, it shouldn’t be long before I post, just gotta make the boots look decent first.

there are lots of very good concept artist where i work…might be able to ask on eof them to concept something gory ;)…even with som eenvironment…and we could try to make it to the best of ability …that sounds very exiting
till then happy zbrushing!

Now THAT sounds exciting!! This is the first time I’ve been really pumped to get a model started in a while. I’m wringing my hands in anticipation, it’ll be fun for sure.

Should we go for game models, or just the high res versions? Textured, or untextured? Posed or unposed? Ooooohh, this could be a hell of a lot of fun.

i’d say starting to do all the stuff high rez using zb3 capabilitys (subtool etcc…) and by the time we are done with them, the zmapper3 should be realeased…then retopology etc to make in gmae model with pretty textures…what i might do as well is after texturing it myself, asking one of the (very talented) texture artist (that i think will do the concept) to texture it his way…so we can compare…
any way…ill ask him first thing tomoz as he’s already gone (lasy boy haha)
