Repairing 3d scans Help

Hello All,
I am very need to zbrush and only bought the software 2 weeks ago. I have learned the interface quickly and need the forums help to keep moving forward.

I would like to import my Uv mapped obj scan into zbrush create a second mesh. Then repair and removed parts the mesh that are deformed foot missing, hand missing then create a solid model again. This most likely will not have the Uv’s from my original model still loaded into zbrush. Then Uv project or Uv bake the textures on the repaired model and export back out obj.

Example: Scan of me and my son.

As you can see look on my lower leg and you parts of the mesh that need to be removed and hole’s filled again.
Also my son has two hands that one needs to be removed.

Thanks in advance,

This is quite a complex subject. There are a few videos on YouTube which might help, for example:

You will also probably want to familiarize yourself with the various techniques associated with DynaMesh and projecting colour and detail, as well as Decimation Master (for reducing polygon count) and ZRemesher (for creating clean topology). To transfer the color information from one mesh to another you use polypaint which is the projected bewteen the meshes. You can then create new UVs for the model before turning the polypaint back into a texture.
