Rendering in zbrush

I need help on how to render in zbrush. With a primary light…and a soft back light.

thanks

At the top are two palettes: Light and Render.

The Light palette allows you to create and modify lights. To make a new light, click (or turn on) a new light bulb. Clicking the light bulbs switches you to that lights settings. To position them, manipulate the box on top of the sphere. You can also adjust the intensity and color in this palette, as well as other settings.

In the render palette are the render options, including shadows, fog, etc. To do a final render, you’ll want to set the antialiasing to “Best.”

To get the best results, you’ll have to just play around with all of these settings. Each project is different, so’ll it’ll take some experimenting.

To convert a light to a back light, double-click on its positional square in the Light palette’s large thumbnail.

Please note that any of the MatCap materials have their lighting baked in. They will not respond to changes in the Lighting palette. The only way to change their lighting to is use a different light map.

It’s also recommended to create your document at twice the desired size. After rendering, turn on Zoom>AA Half before exporting the render. This gives the best edge antialiasing.

How do i change the light map on a material?
