Rendering high res help me please

Hello,

Can someone please give me some tips regarding rendering large images for print? I can’t seem to get this right. I’ve bumped up my document size (various sizes, up to 6000x just to test) but it seems that while the document canvas gets larger, the actual object stays the same size no matter what. When I throw that into photoshop, the object is generally around 10"x10" at 72 dpi. I’m trying to make a high res print around 12"x12" 300dpi. How can I go about doing that/rendering it out larger?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

When you change your Document size, it doesn’t automatically fit it to the canvas. Use the ‘Zoom’ button on the right shelf (click+drag up) to zoom your document out until you see the whole document. Then set up the ZTool to fit into the document.
