Rendering an image

Hey this is a very noob question, but how do you render out an image in zbrush?? I clicked on Render and nothing happens, my thing just turns yellow. I don’t get an image to save out or anything.

I already searched for “rendering” tutorials but none of relevance came up.
And is it just me, or can you not screen cap zbrush either?? :-p

When the Preview render is activate (which is the default) ZBrush is always rendering. That’s why clicking Render doesn’t do anything.

Click Best Render to activate the most advanced rendering mode. ZBrush will then go through a progressive rendering process which you’ll see on screen. You can adjust the settings in the Render and Light palettes to get better results.

To export the image you would then use Document>Export.

And there is documentation. See here: http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Rendering_The_Big_Picture
