render, exporting 2D files

I am still at beginner stage of zbrush, I’m using zbrush mostly for visualising purposes(mainly stills, or 2D visuals)

When I start new document at 640 x 480 pixels, it seems that I could only export the image (PSD, BMP, TIFF, etc) within this size? When I enlarge the document size, the images are pixelated…

How can I render and export high-res image in zbrush?

Or I export the OBJ and render in other 3D software?

And, any ways to export image with alpha?

Can anyone advice me on this?

for exporting large 2D documents you must increase from “document/size” the canvas’s size, but then u have to clear the canvas and redraw the tool (i.e. a polymesh) that you want to use : if you don’t clear and redraw, the tool is exported at the same low resolution than before !
Keep in mind that Zbrush export image only in 72 dpi, so if you want to print your image you must export a very large canvas (i.e.: for an A4 print i export at least a 2900x2000 pixels image)
Bye !

To get the best quality images, create your scene at a canvas size that’s double what you’re going to export. After doing a Best render, press Zoom>AAHalf (the button is also on the right Shelf). Now export your scene. This AAHalf is a special exportable view of your scene with really good edge antialiasing.
