Drakelot : thank you !
iatriki : thx !
CrazyMatt : thank dude ^^ All the “mechanic” stuff has been modeled in max and all the organic part (including the clothes) and been imported in Zbrush as really rough base mesh before detailling. I try to keep it as low as possible in other package before the import, though. I secretly dream that one day Zbrush will allow us to actually “poly model” our basemesh directly in the software !!
Deryck : thank you
freesupra : thank you for the kind words
I’m currently trying to “finish” the pirate before sending it for 3D print !
man, your style is crazy cool. I really dig it, and could spot it from a mile away (or in this case a 100px thumbnail)
kick ass stuffs dude
great work as always
hey dude fantastic work, as always…small_orange_diamond:D
Your work is inspiring. Both your modeling and texture skills are excellent.
nothing really special here,
just a little head made this afternoon without reference to relax ^^

let’s back to real work now !
Really cool work mate for an afternoon sculpt! Out of interest, what did you render the last image in? I like the lighting.
Hey thank you MINTY Nothing special about the last render, just some Zbrush materials composed in photoshop.
And how many subdivision levels is this one head? Also, are the teeth a part of this basemesh too or a subtool?
Selah
hey dude as always great sculpt,
Maybe will be great a mini tuto about how you make the textures and the render from zbrush, the quality is answome…
Congrats again:D:D:D
Man, I really think your work is awesome. I was wondering where you got the MAtCap you used on your first post for the fishy looking creature???

selahpoetic : thank you. Starting from a cube (or almost), I’ve 8 lvl of subdivision. The teeth are done using Zsphere and added to the scene.
sephirothsam : I’ll see if I find the time to do that. Nothing really special, though
KrisKelly3D : Thank you Btw, this is not a matcap but some touch up in photoshop using a standart Zbrush matcap.
Am3D : thx !
scottleroc : thank you !
andy.chen : thx ^^
rasmusW : thank you !
Sorry for the lack of update guys. I’ve really busy lately with some personnal stuff… Like starting packaging everything with my girl-friend because we’re moving to the Orange County, CA really soon. I’m gonna work at Blizzard Entertainment in a few weeks. I must say I’m REALLY exited about this awesome opportunity to meet great people, work on cool project and grow up as an artist.
The pirate model is a bit on stand by but yesterday I had to sculpt something (to relax and because I didn’t sculpt anything for days, even weeks…).
Here’s a small evening fun loosely based on a concept from Marcus Kielly.
