I’m trying to remove a section of my mesh using the DEL HIDDEN button because I want a hole in the nose of my skull sculpt, once removed I go to use the Dynamesh and the hole automatically closes. My Zbrushcore 2018 doesn’t have the Curve Bridge brush, so is there any other way to seal the edges of the new hole somehow or something so that it’s not automatically remeshed? Basic example illustrated in screenshots below

Although there is an option in Preferences>Geometry>Dynamesh Close Holes slider to turn off close holes it’s not really recommended. This is because Dynamesh works best with volumes rather than open meshes. So really the best way of doing what you want is to create the hole you need at the end, when you have finished using Dynamesh.
An alternative would be to use the Create Shell feature. If the piece you used to create the shell hole was the right shape then you would end up with a skull model with thickness and the hole.
