Removing default stuff from startup?

I’ve had this on my mind for a while now but in R2 I just couldn’t tolerate it any more. How can I remove the default brushes, textures and alphas from loading? For example, I do not need a Insert foot or Insert head in my brush palette at all, I’d rather replace it with another brush. Same goes for many alphas that are in the alpha palette by default, I simply never use them, I’d rather have more space for alphas that I do use.

So uh, is there a way to remove them?

Thanks a lot.

Just remove them from the ZBrush / ZData / BrushPresets folder and put them in the ZBrush / ZBrushes directory. Same for alphas in their appropriate directories. You can then reload them when needed through Lightbox

I don’t see how this is relevant. Sorry if I didn’t notice something, but there the guy asks about how to load stuff in startup, not how to remove default ones.

Thanks to Richard though.

Thank you to Spyndel also. In learning how to do something its pretty easy to figure out how to UNDO the same action. Putting brushes in or taking them out of your default start up folder amounts to the same thing. And I’ll note that Spyndel has made a lot of very helpful contributions here on the forums which we all appreciate.

I do too, I was just a bit confused on the deal.

Yeah, sorry. I just figured that removing the stuff from that folder would be as evident as adding stuff to it. Sorry if I wasnt clear. Be sure to mind Aurick’s note when replacing it with your own content. It’s a common question, and would be good if everyone had the same information on it. That’s the most complete thread on the issue in the new version so far.
