Relative size ?

I started with C4D and made some text I could use in Zbrush. Thing is I didn’t account for the size which zbrush says is 800 etc units, and a tool to go with the text I made completely in Zbrush so it has it’s standard size of roughly 1.9. The problem is, when loading the text tool to accompany the tool, everything scaled up to the relative size.

I’ve watched tutorials on unit calibration distance, and 3D printing, but can’t figure where I’ve going wrong ? Everything ends up either too small or too big.

yep, im having problems with the scale/units of zbrush 2. I dont know what zbrush is doing and it has way 2 much parameters to set scale. I would like to model in real world what is possible but when i export that **** it is all ****ed up in 3dsmax. I just would like to have just units where i can use metric scales and select cm export and DONE. Cant find any solution, the only thing what is working is directly use GoZ.

Not sure if this will help but it helped me. but Zbrush has a initial scale of roughly 1 or 2 units. So if you create an object as the size you want, then import the over / under sized object and append it as a subtool of the correct size object and then size it up or down. This did work for me but for some reason Zbrush isn’t constant so fingers crossed.

ye okeu can do that but this cant be a solution. I found out but im not sure, do not touch the export scale slider, what ever crazy number he shows up. The only thing is u maybe have to write down the geometry scale and position, because after u reimport it as an obj from your 3d app you almost every time have messed up scale and position in zbrush.

It is realy annyoing and ****ed up, hope they will get a solid unit system soon. Real world scale PIXOLOGIC, that is what u should take care of. I dont want to check all time my scaling like a paranoid dude.
