Regarding Tweak bush and some hotkeys...

I was wondering if there is a way to change the stregth of the Tweak brush? To be honest I never liked how move/tweak brush works in ZBrush… It’s way too much sensetive. If I want to tweak just a little something really small like a nostril,it’s very hard to do it due to the sensetivity of the brush.Focal shift doesn’t help you a lot either…It would be really cool if you could control the stregth of the tweak brush…

About hotkeys. Can I change the intensitiy and size of a brush without having to press “S” or RMB? It really slows down the whole process of sculpting.I’ve heard Silo has a really great solution for that-you just press middle mouse button and move your mouse up and down to change the streght and right and left to change the size- and I was wondering if it is possible for Pixologic to make something like this…

For the type of operation you describe, I think youre looking for the “nudge” brush.

Regarding hotkeys +brush sizing. I really like the function you describe in Silo…Id love to see that in Z, but Z’s functions are much more hardcoded, and if it was an easy thing to change, I think we’d have seen it by now. Im not sure if it could be or has been addressed by scripting.

I map the S key to my intuous pen button, so its a pretty painless click to bring up the slider right under my pen point and adjust size on the fly.

A general hotkey editor will be released at some point in the coming months.

Nudge won’t work that good for this kind of things.

And not only Silo has this cool feature.Take Mudbox, for example. You press B and move your mouse to change the size, press M and move the mouse in order to change the strength…This is really great and saves a lot of time actually.
I don’t think that making something like this will be impossible for Pixologic after what they’ve done with ZBrush 3.0  And maybe it’s just me who don’t like the way some things work in the programm, but having a better solution for changing both size and strenght would really kick ass.

I think youll be interested in this plug-in from marcus: Here . It does more or less what you have suggested in resizing brushes, and more. Use your mouse config or wacom utility to map the keys to your Mouse or pen as desired.

I think it has something to do with the Scale of an Imported Mesh or Unified Mesh.:qu:

Unify sometime makes the mesh Tiny, and the brush strength on the mesh is to stong.
Maybe try Changeing the Scale of the Mesh.
