Referencing model in Zbrush?

Hey guys …

I dont know if the headline is clear enough …Soo here it is what am looking for … is there a way that I will pose subtool into right position and than when I want I can work on the original one with symetry option and just transfer all changes into posed one? See …like I make a sword and pose him into the hand …but than decide to make some adjustments soo I will do them on original tool with help of symetry and than just transfer those changes into posed one?

Thanks in advance … i hope there is some nice workaround

Martin

also you might want to look into this i think it is more for animation inside zbrush.

hey man erm yer i see what ya mean, there are 2 ways i think u can get by this besides the mentioned method above. you can use a layer in zbrush, so create a new layer and pose the hand the way you want. with this you can turn the layer on and of when you want. allowing you to sculpt after posing and you can keep going back and forth.

opposably symetry is another way of doing it, you can turn it on in the tranformation menu, under acivate symmertry, that uses ur topology and then works on both parts of the model, so u can pose the one hand, turn on opposably symmetry and them get sculpting on the other hand and hopefully it shud transfer over. well give it a go hope it all works for ya.

gotta be carefull with rotation and posing with layers and details as this can happen.
