Redo/fix topology


How do I make the topology conform to that red line? I need to form edge flows where the red line is, and sharpen those cliff edges too (this is a terrain mesh)

Also, how do I perfectly flatten an area along the Z axis, like the flatten tool in Sim City 4.
The flatten tool used in Zbrush behaves very differently than desired.
