hey everyone after some time lurking here in silence i ve decided to open my own sketchbook thread to improve my studies

Great start. Ecorche guy looks really solid. You could add a bit more impact by taking Dam_Standard brush and just adding a few “shadows” only a few. Just like you were drawing.
Very solid sculpting, too!

I think your new sculpt is really interesting man, can’t wait to see how it turns out.
That green guy is very interesting 
just a couple comments on the design.
Something that I’ve been told about some of my stuff on several occasions, and that has helped me a lot, was that the back was letting down the bulk of the rest of character, and I would say that a bit of that is going on here.
I would say it’s within reason to bulk up his back, looking at the rear view, in order to support those huge arms. Those Lats look pretty big in profile, but doesn’t read that way laterally, imo. Tapering down to the waist is fine, but I think widening out that upper back into the shoulders would help sell his ability to wail on someone 
Those quad horns would make it difficult for any major leg abduction, but that’s neither here nor there lol.

The proportions are way off on the girl. Her torso and head are way too small for those legs and arms. I’d grab some reference and correct them unless of course that’s what you’re going for, in which case I’ll reserve judgment till I see it further along.

Hi there,
Thought i’d drop by and mention some points about the anatomy. Even though you did an ecorshe correctly. But on your next models there’s a mistake (the one that jumps out straight away). The first two packs should be positioned straight after pecs (pectoralis major) muscle. The following two going right after the thoracic arch (where the rib cage ends). At the moment you’ve got nothing right after pecs and you’re squishing all of them in the area where they shouldn’t be. Just have a look at your own ecorshe sculpt.

Also another point on your green guy the back muscles look like one big bulge. Lats and trapezius muscles became one common mass.
