red dot removal

hello, is there a way to get rid of that little red dot when editing? it’s annoying on how it snaps to the edge vert for me. thanks you

It can’t be turned off. It’s actually very valuable feedback – especially when sculpting with low resolution models. The reason for this is that when you’re sculpting in ZBrush you are not sculpting faces. You’re sculpting points. This indicator shows you which point will be affected by your sculpt. If the red dot isn’t snapped to any point (which is easy to have happen on a low poly mesh) then ZBrush will interpret your stroke as happening on empty canvas and your model will rotate instead of sculpting. The red dot helps you avoid that by ensuring that you have a point selected before you start your stroke.

Thank you for the reply. I makes a lot more sense on why it is needed.
