I am assembling a new computer. What components such as mother board, processor, etc do you recommend? In other words, what should I not miss when making a new computer?

all the RAM.
SSD

after that, build to what else you need to be able to do. but Zbrush will get a direct boost from those 2…well…ram more so when 5 comes out.

Thanks…I’m building a gaming comp which has a pretty beefed up config but they call for 6 GIB of RAM but I’m putting 12…right now I’m running ZB on a old Dell dual core nothing special, actually not bad as long as you don’t go to high res…

Probably in that order. A good motherboard should fit all those components and be of good quality. Even though Zbrush doesn’t use the video card it’s worth it for other programs and things like gaming. SSD drives make a big difference.
