gugesbri - Whats in NY that isn’t badly imitated in Los Angeles? Really?
We can always just go to universal studio for our NY love!

Oh boy this looks cool. I wish I were down there to check it out! I also agree that a recording of these meetings would be great for the community
Ryan- I was hoping more for the subtitled version with time code running in the corner, all in shaky cam.

next meeting lets do in my hause :]
and the recording would be nice
Well I sent an RSVP. Hopefully I can get out of work early enough to make it. This seems to be an interesting one. Guess it’s time to crack open those ZBrush manuals again.
Are these meetings being recorded / taped for the benefit of the folks that cant make it, im sure people would be willing to pay for a DVD of these meetings.
what do you all think
This one will be a show stopper. I just hope Gnomon has enough beer and Pizza for the amount of guests this one will attract. If I had the time I’d fly back over.
I think we should do a UK Pixologic User meeting. I’d be happy to get involved (although much happier if it was in Manchester or Liverpool rather than London but hey, any meeting would be cool.) if needed. The powers that be should look into it.
Glen
Great idea.
glen …how very Northern of you.
"happier if it was in Manchester or Liverpool "
but personally I’m with you on that one. Either would be great with me… and of course Liverpool being the city of culture…oh and having the greatest football team.

真不错!帮你顶了!!!!
If a date and place was announced in advance (read 1-2 months) I would definitely travel to the UK for a meeting.
A proper thread dedicated to this idea would perhaps better gauge the interest people have in attending a UK Zbrush Usergroup meeting?
Enjoy the meeting tonight guys, hope you have fun, and remember to take photos to share with us
Agree with TVeyes, have a marvelous time.
Eat, drink, be merry. Do not give one thought to
your loving and supportive friends that could not be there.
That helpful group of selfless people that made you what
you are.
If a slight bit of nagging guilt should come up…
A way to repay, perhaps.
Photos and descriptions would be nice, if you have a chance.
Don’t hurry, no rush, no sweat , when you get the time.
After all it is just us.
anythiing yet?
Crap,
I got out of work too late, and by the time I got back up to LA it was about 8:45. I hope thie highlites get posted soon…

It was freaking awesome…even my girlfriend got into it, lol.
Thanks Gnomon, Pixologic, & Luma!!!
AAAAHHHHhhh, I want to see some films of the User Group Meeting!
User group meeting was great, thanks to Luma, Ryan, Gnomon, and Cirque Bezerque (sp?). Sorry the rest of you missed the scantily clad fire breatimg beauties who performed before the main event. No, I’m not kidding, wild stuff!
I saw plenty of people taking pictures and maybe some video so I’m sure stuff will be posted soon.
This is why I moved to LA!
Awesome!!! I am just back in the office after an absolutely fantastic night!!! We will have images to post soon and a good long write up but I wanted to get a word in here first. Thank you goes out to Payam, Vince, Chris, David, and Chad of Luma Pictures, to Alex Alvarez, Jill Smolin, to Eric Miller and to everyone at The Gnomon School of Visual Effects!
Special thanks to Suzanne, Jennifer, Roo, and KJ (featured in the image above) the sexy, goth-clad, fire breathing and silk climbing ladies that opened the show!!
Best,
Ryan
That’s a zbrush image right?
Ryan, how much was your bail?
