Realtime stylized ogre

I set out to create an ingame “end of level boss” character for an imaginary, stylised game, giving myself a larger polycount, material count and texture size/ count than I am used to dealing with at work… in effect preparing for next-next-gen!

Approx 11000 polygons, 4 2048x2048 textures 2 64x64 textures, 4 materials.

Rendered in realtime inside the UE3 engine

Also - does anybody know why my picture isn’t showing up in the recently uploaded images section? I attached my picture with the upload image or file button but still no joy?

Drop and drag your file from the Attach Files area to the window you’re typing in. Check "preview Post "to see it. If its under 200K jpeg should be fine.

Thanks for the reply but doing that just placed a link to an attachment which wasn’t there in my post.

I tried reuploading my file and it still doesn’t show in the recently submitted thumbnail gallery - its under 200kb just - 199.2kb to be exact.

Anyone know why this is happening?

It looks like a WoW character, this is great:+1: :+1: :+1:

Thanks for your support!

Does anybody know how to get my images showing in the “recently uplaoded images” gallery though? I have tried uploading and reuploading my pictures but to no avail. Do pictures need to be of a certain dimensions? The pictures are already under 200kb so they should show ok as far as I can see?

Hahah - well I’m not sure I could do a better job with a tutorial for getting things inside UE3 than some of the guys that have already been there and done that!

Not sure that I could add anything to the other UT3/ UE3 tutotrials so I will gratuitously pinch and post some of the best tutorials I have seen for getting stuff inside UT3! Any questions you have about the whole process I would be happy to help with if I can.

importing a head model
