Hi, I’m a struggling ZBrush virgin! Please could someone point me towards a tutorial(s) that would hold my hand through the basics of texturing, lighting and rendering of natural looking skin. Thank you!
I just finished watching this 6 part tutorial on texturing using polypaint. The author clearly knows what he’s doing and also has a sense of humour about his work

Good luck!
Thanks Trist,
SebastianK is an absolute HOOT, very much enjoyed his brand of self deprecating humour! I’m still looking though for an overview of the next steps, lighting and rendering. I’m a bit confused by the standard/MatCap materials and where/when to use them, and how they are supposed to interact with the various lighting options. And of course, what render options to use. Any help greatly appreciated.

Have a look at the ZBrush 4R2 ZClassroom Movies in the ZBrush Main Forum. I think you will find what you are looking for.
Hi Trist,
Thank you so much for this, its exactly what I’ve been looking for. Can’t understand how I missed them!

My pleasure David. Happy sculpting!
