Hello Guys! so i started this project almost week ago. Its started as study, skin shading. I have no idea how these sss material works. So i started working on this project. Here is my result.

This was early test for how my texture works. You guys must be familiar with nickz_human_male_average blah blah base mesh hehe. I started from there. I didn’t sclupted my skin details. I’m pretty lazy though. I textured my model and from there i converted my color to normal map. Then i tested this. It worked pretty cool i think.

After that i found out displacement map was pretty important. So i decided to sculpt my skin detail. (btw lost my eyes closed version on zbursh)
3.Then i sculpted skin wrinkles using my texture. After that i got 2 normal maps. 1 from texture map 1 from mesh. So i decided to combine them using photoshop. Aand i got primary specular, secondary specular using displacement, normal map.
I think i got the basic idea of how this sss material works.
Today i just learned eye shader. here is the result.
Gonna give her some hair and eye lashes,brows, tomorrow
