I wanted to add a new model to my portfolio and challenge myself to learn new techniques, this model was a steep learning curve for me and has highlighted area I need to focus more on when modelling my next model.
The character was inspired by the Walking Dead TV series and is designed to be used in a real time game engine, all the final renders were done in real time and when working on the model I decided to stick to a 10k max poly limit.
The head, arms (except the tattoo placement) and gun were textured in Zbrush whilst the remaining elements were done in Photoshop.
It is safe to say I had huge amounts of fun making this model.
