re-topology, how to hide backface without crash?

Hey I’m re-topologizing a model using zsphere rigging topology and projection.

Anyway I want to work on the front of the face without seeing the topology on the back of the head (its obviously disorienting). but when I try to hide a part of the topology (while in edit topology mode) it crashes Zbrush?

Am I missing something? Anyway around this?

Many Thanks
S

sure u cant hide regions during retopology. this is th which pisses mof bad about zbrush.

but u have to go to preferences => draw and tweak with back and front occupacy.

then it will be easier. but never try to hide sth.

a shame that noone could answer this easy question. thought some skilled people are arround here… common problem I had to solve too…

hope it helped. if someone knows a even better way i would also like to know
