re doing uv map

i wish to uv map a model i made in zbrush. ofcourse you can make some uv maps, but i wish to make a decent uv map using modo, and not the uv tiles nonsense you get in zbrush.

i remeber doing this before, but i had no idea what i was googling for.
if anyone could describe how to do this, or recommend a tutorial, then i will be very grateful.

tool>geometry>lowest subD

tool>export (at top)

unwrap the object. export

load the tool

tool>geometry>lowest subD
tool>morphtarget>storeMT
tool>import (near top)
tool>morphtarget>switch
step up subD’s to check for explosion.

tada.

One note: Make sure that your point order isn’t changed by any import/export settings in your other app. (For example, in Maya you need to set “Create Multiple Objects” to “False”) If the point order changes, then the mesh will explode after you get back to ZBrush and increase subdivision levels again.
