My new wallpaper to remind me of the things that I need to focus on tomorrow.
Hi all, these are my renders of my character without graphics and extra objects. Next step is colouring and applying symbols and letters.
Hope you like it.
Excellent work!
awesome man!!!
I enjoyed the design process so much, that I designed the concept for the character but I never was to happy with his pants. So into Marvelous Designer I dove, designed these new pants with help from Josep Drust who pointed me in the right direction. The story behind the kneepads and the knee armour is this. The reason one knee is more torn up that the other one is because the character goes down on one knee to shoot, or rest. The padding on one of the armour is to make it a bit more comfortable to rest his elbow on it when he shoots or needs to rest… Thirdly I didn’t want to show his knee armour, so I stuck it underneath the pants - and created some extra protection on top of the knee pads…
Hope you enjoy these.
Dude, amazing details … keep going
Awesome details.
extreme detailing
Hey guys, I’ve decided to not spend so much time on details and focus on just doing and enjoying the process of just creating.
For a month now I’m focusing on creating a model within a day. Purely for fun and not getting stuck in details.
So here I go. I will post the images I have so far.
Pluche Pluche is a game I found on the internet and the artwork just spoke to me so to start with I’m modelling the characters of the game.
This way I’m not spending to much time thinking about the the how’s and why’s. Later I will move on and do something else. I might do my own if I feel like it. But for now I only want to focus on doing.
Everybody loves a circle and these circles are adorable.
Gravity - the motion picture was awesome and on my way home I thought I had to do something cute and interesting.
Again - cute. Sweetly played with the curves of the sweeping air hose.
Fab posts.
Keep it up with the not thinking it but doing it regime. It worked for Picasso.
this is one of those threads that simply make you smile hehe… awesome work mate, too cute

I’m getting to know KeyShot. I only have the basic legal version (note to Luxology help me out here with pro version).
At the moment I’m using mostly the velvet material to get the matt cartoon look.
The glass is thin film I think it’s called, with some tweaks, but the basic settings are good.
Blue background is just my own photoshop background or Backplate.
I clean up the render in Photoshop and fix some things.
I had a goal not to spend more time on each model than a day so there are some mistakes are still in there, like the lighting on his shoulder.
I add lens flare in photoshop + grain and other stuff…
cool
